What is Galvanized Steel Coil:
Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Coil (GI steel sheet) is produced by
passing the Full Hard sheet which has undergone the acid washing
process and rolling process through the zinc pot, thereby applying
zinc film to the surface.It has excellent corrosion resistance,
paintability, and workability due to Zinc’s characteristic. Usually
hot dipped galvanized steel sheet and galvanized steel coil process
and specifications are basically the same.
Galvanized steel coil is defined as a carbon steel sheet coated
with zinc on both sides. A zinc coating is one of the most
effective and economical methods of protecting bare steel from a
corroding environment. The zinc not only serves as a barrier
between the steel and the environment it will sacrifice itself to
protect the underlying steel sheet.
Galvanization or galvanizing is the process of applying a
protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The
size of crystallites (grains) in galvanized coatings is a visible
and aesthetic feature, known as "spangle".
With the cold rolled steel of different strengths and thicknesses
as substrate. it is produced by applying the zinc coat on both
faces by a hot dip process.

Galvanized Steel Coil process:
1.Hot and cold rolled steel plate through alkali washing
degreasing, and washed, dried and then into the horizontal
(vertical) heating furnace heating radiation tube for annealing,
furnace through a certain amount of hydrogen to make the furnace
early layer reduction atmosphere.
2.The steel strip heated to a certain temperature is immersed in
zinc solution for hot dip galvanizing under certain conditions.
3.Zinc flower size has liquid zinc composition to control at the
same time, the method of forced cooling to control, small zinc
flower products in the zinc flower began to spread before, with
small zinc flower equipment for rapid cooling to prevent zinc
liquid to continue to spread, the formation of small zinc flower.
4.After the hot dip galvanized post cooling through the surface
finishing, and finally according to the use, respectively, surface
passivation treatment or direct production into color coated coil
plate.
